ST. LOUIS — An office building in Downtown West that was the site of a deadly shooting this summer is slated to hit the auction block early next month.
The building, at 1409 Washington Ave., is set to go up for auction online from Nov. 13-15 through Ten-X and brokerage Keys Realty, which has its offices in the building, according to an online listing. A 21-space adjacent parking lot is included.
The building was the site of a deadly shooting in June when a 17-year-old was shot and killed and 11 others were injured after a late-night party.
The property, which has a starting bid of $900,000 on the auction site, was appraised at over $1.07 million this year, according to city records.
The 34,234-square-foot building, listed as "office loft creative space," was built in 1919 and has 77.3% occupancy, according to the auction listing.
