INDIANAPOLIS — Sam's Club is celebrating a big birthday with a big offer for new members.
The retailer is offering $40 off memberships for first-time members to mark its 40th anniversary. That brings the cost of a basic-level Club membership to $10 and a Plus membership to $70.
The offer is available from April 14 through April 19 and can be redeemed in stores or online.
In addition to the offer for new members, existing members can celebrate the anniversary with a free sweet treat and fountain drink in stores on April 15.
Sam's Club will also celebrate their birthday with a limited-time birthday cake sundae in the Café. The dessert features frozen yogurt and birthday cake with sprinkles and icing and will cost $1.58 through the end of April.
There will also be exclusive member offers from April 14 through May 1.
Sam's Warehouse Club opened its first location in Oklahoma in 1983 and has grown to nearly 600 stores in the United States and Puerto Rico.
