ST. LOUIS — St. Louis native and supermodel Karlie Kloss gave local small businesses a shout out on Twitter.
In the post, she said thank you to the “extraordinary small biz owners in my life.”
One of the pictures she posted was of her enjoying the famous Ted Drewes custard. In another picture, she was posing with Imo’s pizza and an assortment of appetizers including toasted ravs, of course.
She went on to say how important it is to support small businesses.
“You are what make small towns and big cities what they are,” she said in the post.
During the coronavirus pandemic, many small businesses have had to make layoffs and some have even temporarily closed their doors like Ted Drewes, Pappy’s Smokehouse and The Blue Owl Restaurant & Bakery.
