According to WalletHub, more than 15 million people in the U.S., or about 10 percent of the labor force, work for themselves.
WalletHub used 18 key metrics ranging from five-year business survival rate to office-space affordability to rank the 150 most populated U.S. cities.
St. Louis came in number 7 on the list and Springfield took the number 11 spot.
Oklahoma City tops the list.
