ST. LOUIS — Dollar General’s modern-day convenience store known as DGX is now open in St. Louis.
The 4500 square foot store is located on 622 Washington Avenue and is open seven days a week from 8 a.m. to 10 p.m.
At DGX, you can get fresh fruits and vegetables, pet supplies, paper products, home cleaning supplies, health and beauty products, home décor, electronics, and seasonal products.
Customers also have the option of grab-and-go sandwiches, salads, snack items and a coffee station.
“We are excited to bring our DGX format to the St. Louis community to help support the needs of customers in the city’s vibrant downtown community,” said Dan Nieser, Dollar General’s senior vice president of real estate and development. “Through our DGX St. Louis location, we look forward to serving customers with value and convenience on quality products to help them save money on the everyday, essential items they need.”
Dollar General first opened a DGX store in Nashville in 2016. Since then, the company has opened stores in North Carolina, Pennsylvania, Ohio, Oklahoma, and Nebraska. This will be the third location in Missouri. The other two are in Clayton and Kansas City.
