Emergency job fair being held for former Armory STL workers

All other job seekers are invited to the last two hours of this job fair.

ST. LOUIS — An emergency hiring fair has been scheduled for recently laid-off Armory STL workers.

The venue closed its doors a few days ago and many workers and families are now without a job.

Workers should plan to attend on Wednesday, Oct. 2. The fair runs from 9 a.m. to Noon, but the first hour is exclusively for unemployed Armory workers.

It's being held at 1520 Market Street, in the first-floor conference room.

Topgolf, Allied Security, DoubleTree, Hollywood Casino, and the Marriott Grand are among some of the employers who will be hiring.

For questions, call (314) 589-8000.

Plan on parking in the Kiel Center garage, located immediately behind the building at the corner of Clark and 16th.

Bring your parking ticket for no-cost validation.

In place of registration, complete your profile here before the event.

The event is sponsored by the St. Louis Agency for Training and Employment.
