Spectrum hosts hiring fair Tuesday
Spectrum is looking to fill jobs in its Bridgeton call center. Customer service representatives provide over-the-phone internet and phone support and repair services, which keep customers connected.
These jobs pay $20 per hour and include benefits.

AT&T hiring in more than a dozen area communities
AT&T is in the middle of a hiring push in the metro area. Many of the openings are for retails sales consultants.
But the company's also hiring installation technicians, field sales representatives and system engineers.

SLATE Missouri Job Center invites St. Louisans to the FAFSA Frenzy Event in July
If you know a high school-aged student and are living in the City of St. Louis, listen up.
The St. Louis Agency on Training and Education (SLATE) is hosting a FAFSA Frenzy event this month.
Get free help completing the financial aid eligibility forms for education beyond high school. There are several deadlines that need to be met in order to qualify for federal financial aid.
This event will help you navigate the paperwork.
It's Friday, July 15 from noon to 6 p.m. at the SLATE Missouri Job Center located at 1520 Market Street, third floor, room 3050.
Be sure to create a Federal Student Aid account at studentaid.gov before attending, and bring your login information, Social Security number, 2020 federal tax returns, W-2s, and records of any investments or money earned.

St. Louis Community College and Ranken fall enrollment deadlines, SLATE offers training funding for up to $10,000
STLCC's manufacturing, industrial technology, skilled trades, and health sciences fall classes start on August 22, 2022, and the registration deadline is August 28, 2022.
STLCC offers stackable credentials to help students level up their career opportunities while saving time and resources. Graduates can jump-start their careers with technical, technology, and science degrees or certificates and earn on average $10,600 more per year than a high school diploma does.
Ranken Technical College's fall semester starts on August 22, 2022, and the final deadline for enrollment is August 12, 2022. Ranken offers hands-on skill training and technical education in the automotive, construction, electrical, information technology, and manufacturing fields. Technical careers have starting salaries up to $60,000 per year, according to Ranken. On average, each student has more than five job opportunities when they graduate.
Most Ranken and STLCC students receive financial aid and scholarships to help cover tuition, books, and tools. SLATE Missouri Job Center partners with STLCC and Ranken to offer scholarships to students for career development and training programs for up to $10,000. To receive financial assistance through SLATE, students must be residents of St. Louis city. SLATE will also provide eligible participants access to various no-cost resources to ensure job readiness, including workshops on résumé writing and interview skills, skills assessments, and individualized career guidance.
