No registration is necessary, but SLATE requests that you create a profile on jobs.mo.gov before coming to the hiring event.

This is an in-person event where you can talk with representatives from UPS, AT&T, Enterprise Fleet Management, the Missouri Department of Transportation, iHeart Media, and Francis Howell School District, just to name a few employers.
Open positions are located all over the Bi-State including St. Louis, St. Charles, Warren, Lincoln, and Jefferson Counties in Missouri, and Madison, Monroe, and St. Clair Counties in Illinois.

YouthBuild Earn While You Learn program
How would you like to earn money while you learn?
YouthBuild St. Louis City helps you get your high school equivalency while you earn a credential in construction.
This is perfect for anyone between 17 and 24, and interested in the construction industry.
You must be a city resident to participate. You also must be out of school and motivated to obtain high school equivalency.
You’ll need a valid driver’s license or state ID, a birth certificate, social security card, and proof of income.

SLATE launches high school credential attainment program
The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) is partnering with St. Louis Public Schools to help city residents who dropped out of high school overcome the negative impact of the pandemic and enter the workforce by obtaining High School Diplomas and vocational certifications.
Under the program, each participant will explore their professional interests during individualized career planning sessions with their case managers.
Upon graduation, participants will either seek employment or explore post-secondary education opportunities.
Funded by the American Rescue Plan Act, this program is open to city residents ages 17 and up.
Participants must be residents of the City of St. Louis and reside in a qualified census tract or a household whose total income is at or under $69,090.
