ST. LOUIS — Now's the time to make plans to attend an upcoming job fair sponsored by the St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE).
It happens Tuesday, May 21, from 9 am to noon, in the First Floor Conference Room of 1520 Market Street in St. Louis.
The event will be focused primarily on job opportunities, training programs, and apprenticeships in trades and construction.
Participating employers include:

- Missouri Works Initiative

- McCarthy Building Group
- Employment Connection - Construction Program
- St. Louis Public Schools
- Carpenters Union - Apprenticeship and Pre-Apprenticeship program
- International Painters Unions - Painting Apprenticeships
- BTD Construction - painters and carpenters jobs
- First Student - Bus driving positions and monitors-diesel mechanics
- Abbott Ambulance - EMT positions
- St. Louis Community College Workforce Solutions Group - various training opportunities for manufacturing and jobs at the STLCC campuses
