ST. LOUIS — Families could receive help from a St. Louis program designed to support people who are behind on child support payments.
The Fathers & Families Support Center with financial support from The St. Louis Agency on Training and Employment (SLATE) is hosting a program designed to get families back on their feet.
This program offers payment towards child support arrears, job readiness training, comprehensive guidance counseling, and more.
Eligible participants could receive up to $5,000 towards their arrears payment.
It’s funded by the American Rescue Plan Act.
Non-custodial parents, custodial parents, and families negatively impacted by the COVID-19 pandemic are eligible.
