State of Missouri recalls more than 2,000 cannabis products over improper testing

The recall largely affects the "Twenty Twenty" brand in different packaging and strains.

MISSOURI, USA — The Missouri Division of Cannabis Regulation (DCR) has recalled 2,649 cannabis products sold under the Twenty Twenty brand name.

The recalled products included flower, ground flower and pre-rolled joints in various packaging and strains.

The DCR said no adverse reactions for the products have been reported to its department at this time.

It said the recalled marijuana products were not in compliance because they were tested at the unprocessed bud/flower stage, rather than being tested at the final marijuana product stage.

The DCR said patients who purchased the recalled products should stop using them, and the products should be discarded or returned to the dispensary where purchased. It also said returned products will not count towards a patient's purchase limit.

The full list of recalled products is available here.

Anyone who thinks that they may be experiencing adverse reactions should seek immediate medical attention. Patients and consumers are reminded that any adverse reactions should be reported by emailing CannabisComplaints@health.mo.gov or filling out a complaint form located here.

If you have concerns of possible poisoning, call the Missouri Poison Center at 800-222-1222, or 911 if it is an emergency.
