A photo of a young boy standing outside of his school praying and reciting the Pledge has quickly gone viral on Facebook.
Royce's mother posted the photo to Facebook with the caption "PROUD MOMMY ALERT."
Apparently Royce had been running late for school that day and when his mom dropped him off, the school had already begun the pledge for the day.
His mom wrote, " I was saying Royce..go..go" as kids walked around him. Well he didn't budge and I thought what is this child doing?"
Instead of running inside with the rest of the kids, Royce stopped right there, put his hand over his heart and began praying.
"I was so proud that he stopped when the Pledge of Allegiance came and stood his ground and did not move as the other kids were going in and then took time out and prayed and did not even care or think twice about it. This is such a beautiful picture," his mom wrote.
