ST. LOUIS — The first weekend of August was a busy one for the 5+ Live Bus.
5 On Your Side participated in the Washington Town and Country Fair Parade Sunday afternoon. The parade started on The Landing before making its way through town, west on 5th Street. That parade kicks off fair week activities in Washington, Aug. 7-11.
Saturday was a beautiful evening in St. Clair County. The 5+ Live Bus was in the parade in Mascoutah, along with our Summer Tour parade partners at Scott Credit Union. They are joining forces in 17 community parades, this summer and fall!
Friday night, they took to the streets in Alhambra to help Madison County residents celebrate. After all, it’s not every day a town turns 175 years old! That birthday is the reason many residents cited in explaining why so many people turned out for that parade.
