ST. LOUIS — The tiniest patients at Mercy Hospital St. Louis' neonatal intensive care unit are celebrating Halloween in style

Hospital staff dressed the NICU babies up in fun costumes, including a bat, sushi, a bumble bee and even a Cardinals baseball player, to get into the holiday spirit. See the scary-cute costumes below.

According to Mercy, hospital teams will dress up in costumes Thursday afternoon and visit Mercy Kids pediatric patients for reverse trick-or-treating. They will go room-to-room handing out treats and bringing cheer to those in the hospital on Halloween.

It's not the first time St. Louis hospital newborns took part in the cute activity. Both Mercy and St. Luke's gave babies their "1st Boo!" in 2023 as well. Click here to see the previous pictures.
