ST. LOUIS — One person was killed, and six others were injured in multiple shootings in St. Louis overnight.
Around 9:30 p.m. on Monday, a 37-year-old man was shot in the 4000 block of Castleman. He told police two men followed him home and fired shots at him as he walked through the door. He was taken to a hospital in critical condition.
Around 11 p.m., 39-year-old Antwan Oglesby was shot multiple times in the 4800 block of Labadie. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
Just after 11 p.m., police received a call after two teen girls arrived at a hospital and said they were shot. The 17-year-old and 19-year-old told police they were standing at the Riverview Circle when a man approached them and fired shots. The victims said someone passing by took them to the hospital.
Around 11:15 p.m., officers received a call for a shooting in the 5900 block of Page.
Police found a man suffering from a gunshot wound to his arm. He was uncooperative with police and refused to provide any information on the suspect.
Police believe he was shot after getting into an argument with the shooter in the 1200 block of Hamilton.
Around 11:30 p.m., a 37-year-old man was shot in the shoulder and ran to get help at a Taco Bell on Grand and Potomac. Police said he was taken to the hospital and should be OK.
At 11:55 p.m., shots were fired in the 4000 block of California in south St. Louis. Thankfully, no one was injured.
Just after 3 a.m. Tuesday, a 15-year-old boy was shot in the head near Euclid and Cupples Place. He wasn’t conscious or breathing at the scene and was taken to the hospital in critical condition.
