ST. LOUIS — A 16-year-old was charged as an adult this week in connection with the deadly shooting of a man in north St. Louis in 2023.
Robert Walker Jr. was charged Tuesday with one count of first-degree murder, first-degree robbery and two counts of armed criminal action in connection with the shooting death of 22-year-old Robert Green.
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department reported the shooting just before 2 p.m. on August 8, 2023, in the 5100 block of Greer Avenue in St. Louis' Kingsway West neighborhood.
At the scene, Green was found shot several times. He was not awake or breathing when officers arrived. Green was transported to a local hospital, where he died.
Walker was booked on Tuesday and certified as an adult.
