ST. LOUIS — A 17-year-old was shot and injured in St. Louis' DeBaliviere Place neighborhood Saturday night, police say.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, a teenage girl was shot in the arm around 7:49 p.m. near the intersection of DeBaliviere and Pershing avenues. The shooting occurred just north of Forest Park.
Police said she was "conscious and breathing," as of Saturday night.
No additional information was released regarding what led up to the shooting or if there were any suspects.
Last week, 19-year-old Jordan Gunn was shot and killed at the Forest Park-DeBaliviere MetroLink station. A 17-year-old girl was arrested in connection with the killing and was being held at the Juvenile Detention Center in St. Louis County.
