ST. LOUIS — A 17-year-old was shot and injured after a shooting that happened Friday night in the city, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department.
Police said the shooting happened just before 6:30 p.m. Friday in the 3900 block of Washington Avenue, near the border of St. Louis' Grand Center and Central West End neighborhoods.
Responding officers found a 17-year-old boy with a gunshot wound to his arm. He was conscious and breathing, police said.
The circumstances that led up to the shooting were not immediately made available.
There was no further information to provide regarding the incident at this time.
