ST. LOUIS — A woman was killed and three other people were injured in a shooting Sunday night outside a south St. Louis restaurant, police said.
St. Louis police said officers responded shortly before 8:40 p.m. to Sam's Southern Eatery in the 3500 block of Gravois Avenue, just north of the intersection with Grand Boulevard.
Police said the woman, a 29-year-old man and a 34-year-old man were found with gunshot wounds. They were transported to an area hospital where the woman was pronounced deceased. The woman was identified on Wednesday as 32-year-old Amber Williams of Florissant.
A 32-year-old man later arrived at the St. Louis hospital with a gunshot wound to the hand.
All three men were listed in stable condition, police said.
Dozens of evidence markers littered the parking lot, and investigators were focusing their attention on a silver Audi parked near the restaurant. A woman who declined to give her name said she heard "a lot of gunshots" and saw two of the four victims get shot.
The woman's death is the second homicide of 2024 in the Tower Grove East neighborhood. On March 30, officers found a 25-year-old woman who had been shot in the chest. Paramedics transported her to an area hospital, where she was pronounced dead.
It was unclear what led up to Sunday night's shooting. Police had made no arrests as of 10 p.m.
Police asked anyone with information to call CrimeStoppers at 866-371-TIPS (8477).
