HAZELWOOD, Mo. – A 20-year-old woman is accused of trying to smother a baby.
According to court documents, Shelby Donovan, held a pillow over a 6-month-old’s face and said she wanted to kill her.
Donovan is facing one count of first-degree assault. Police have not said if the 6-month-old was Donovan’s daughter. The incident occurred on June 20.
They have also not said the condition of the baby.
