ST. LOUIS - Six people have been killed and at least 15 were injured in shootings over Thanksgiving weekend in the City of St. Louis.
TIMELINE
Nov. 23
Around 9:30 a.m., 19-year-old Shelbyon Polk was found shot to death in the yard of a vacant residence on the 2600 block of Burd.
Around 2:30 p.m. a 25-year-old man was shot on the 4800 block of Bessie. He was transported to a hospital by a friend and he’s listed in stable condition.
28-year-old Reco Terry was found shot to death on a front porch on the 5500 block of Hebert around 4:30 p.m.
A 32-year-old man was shot near the intersection of North Broadway and Riverview Drive around 6:40 p.m. His condition is unknown.
Around 7:30 p.m., Charles Keltz, 37, was found beaten and shot to death on the 7000 block of Minnesota.
Nov. 24
Early Friday morning, a 19-year-old man was struck in the leg after an unknown suspect fired shots at him as he was getting into a his vehicle on the 8600 block of Broadway. He was transported to a hospital where he’s listed in stable condition.
Around 2:30 a.m., a 26-year-old man was shot multiple times on the 1900 block of Locust after he went up to a car, which he thought was his girlfriend’s, the vehicle fled the scene and he was transported to a hospital where he’s listed in stable condition.
A 24-year-old man was shot around 10 a.m. in the 3800 block of Keokuk after a suspect approached him. He was struck in the torso and driven to a hospital by a friend where he’s listed in stable condition.
Two 19-year-old men were shot on the 4700 block of Goodfellow around 1 p.m. Both were transported to a hospital and listed in stable condition.
A 28-year-old man told police he was near West Florissant and Kingshighwhay when he was going to purchase narcotics and was shot by an unknown suspect. According to the police report, he was uncooperative with officers.
In the afternoon, a 25-year-old man was at the Gulf Gas Station on the 5700 block of Natural Bridge when he got into an argument with two suspects. One of the suspects fired several times at the victim. He was transported to a hospital where he’s listed in stable condition.
Around 4:05 p.m., 31-year-old David Dunn was transported to a hospital after being shot during an argument with a group of unknown suspects. He was pronounced dead at a hospital. A 44-year-old woman and 25-year-old man were also transported to a hospital for gunshot wounds. Both were listed in stable condition.
Nov. 25
Around 1 p.m., a 16-year-old boy told police he was driving around the city when he was shot in the back of his head. A family member transported him to a hospital and he was uncooperative with the investigation.
34-year-old Raymond Neal was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds around 5:50 p.m. on the 8200 block of Pelham. He was transported to a hospital where he was later pronounced dead. Further investigation the victim was involved in a physical confrontation with one of the suspects.
Nov. 26
Around 1 a.m., a 26-year-old was struck while getting into his vehicle on the 2500 block of North Grand after two groups of people exchanged gunfire. He was transported to a hospital by a family member and is listed in stable condition.
Just before 2 a.m., a 34-year-old man was shot by one of four suspects after being robbed on the 800 block of North Kingshighway. He was transported to a hospital and is listed in critical condition.
Around 10:20 a.m. a 33-year-old man was on the 5800 block of Wabada when a black SUV drove by and began firing shots. He was transported to a hospital where he’s listed in stable condition.
Sunday afternoon, a 52-year-old man was shot on the 3900 block of Palm. According to the police report, he was uncooperative with police.
26-year-old Danielle Wilder was found shot to death on the 6300 block of Sherry around 6:05 p.m.
Around 9:50 p.m., a 19-year-old man was standing at a bus stop in the 4800 block of Natural Bridge when two vehicles were exchanging gunfire. He was struck in the forearm and was transported to a hospital and is listed in stable condition.
