Ballwin man accused of raping a 13-year-old girl

BALLWIN, Mo. — A Ballwin man was accused of raping a 13-year-old girl, St. Louis County Police said in court documents filed on Friday.

According to court documents, 28-year-old Ballwin resident Jacob Biggs faces one count of statutory rape of a victim younger than 14 years old and one county of statutory sodomy of a victim less than 14 years old.

Biggs, who lives less than half a mile from two schools, touched the victim's privates and raped her in St. Louis County in 2023 and or 2024 documents said.

"I have probable cause to believe that between May 23, 2023 and May 23, 2024, within St. Louis County, Jacob Biggs... committed one or more criminal offense(s)," the document read. "The facts that support this belief are as follows: Defendant confesses to touching the victim's [privates] with his hands and having intercourse with her. Victim was 13 years old at the time."

The documents said both charges are class U felonies.

Biggs's conditional bond was set at $250,000 cash only. The conditions are that he have no contact with the victim or any other minors.
