ST. LOUIS — Lorenzo Gordon, the former professional basketball player and ex-fiancé of "Basketball Wives" star Brittish Williams, pleaded guilty to pandemic-related fraud about a year after Williams was sentenced for fraud.

Gordon, a 41-year-old that lives in Chesterfield, pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court in St. Louis to one felony count of theft of more than $250,000 worth of pandemic-related aid.

According to a press release from the U.S. Attorney for the Eastern District of Missouri, Gordon admitted to fraudulently applying for two Paycheck Protection Program loans and three Economic Injury Disaster Loans. Both programs were launched to help businesses survive the COVID-19 pandemic.

Gordon received $107,074 in PPP loans and $165,7000 in EIDL loans and money advances. He applied for the money under three different companies, Logo Fitness LLC, Elite 50 Basketball Training LLC and Elite Health and Fitness Company LLC.

Gordon will be sentenced on Jan. 9. He could face up to 10 years in prison and a $250,000 fine.

The guilty plea comes about a year after his ex-fiancé was sentenced to prison for a decade of fraud.

Williams pleaded guilty in May of 2023 to five federal counts of misuse of a Social Security number, four counts of bank fraud, three counts of making false statements to the IRS and three counts of wire fraud. Assistant U.S. Attorney Diane Klocke said the actions took place over roughly a decade, and the crimes continued even after Williams was indicted.

In October, U.S. District Judge Henry E. Autrey sentenced Williams to four years in prison and ordered her to pay restitution of $565,000.
