Berkeley police looking for three suspects in armed carjacking

Police said one of the suspects was armed with a "dark brown semi-automatic pistol" and stole the vehicle Saturday.

BERKELEY, Mo. — Berkeley police are asking for the public's help identifying three suspects in an armed carjacking.

The Berkeley Police Department opened an investigation on Saturday at around 3 p.m. after a 2014 Mercedes E-350 was carjacked from the 6400 Block of Evergreen Boulevard.

Police said the three suspects were captured on surveillance tape and one of them was armed with a dark brown semi-automatic pistol. The group ordered a man out of his Mercedes at gunpoint and then drove away in the car.
