Man fatally shot in Black Jack during 'domestic incident,' police say

BLACK JACK, Mo. — A man was shot and killed Saturday evening at his north St. Louis County home.

According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers with the North County Precinct responded at about 5 p.m. Saturday to a shooting in the 12100 block of Wensley Road in Black Jack, located near Veterans Memorial Park. There, they found 37-year-old Aaron Cameron who had suffered a life-threatening gunshot wound.

Cameron was taken to the hospital, where he later died from his injuries, police said.

The St. Louis County Police Department Bureau of Crimes Against Persons detectives are investigating the shooting as a homicide. Preliminary findings revealed it was the result of a "domestic incident," according to the police department.
