ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A Florissant man was charged Saturday in connection to a series of armed robberies that took place earlier this month.

The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged 28-year-old Ronald Perkins with three counts of first-degree robbery and three counts of armed criminal action. He was being held on a $500,000 cash-only bond.

According to the probable cause statement, Perkins on Nov. 8 entered the BP gas station at 7830 Clayton Road in Richmond Heights, pointed a black-and-silver handgun at the employee and demanded money from the register and a pack of Newports. He left the gas station with the cash and cigarettes and drove off in a 2020 Kia Telluride.

Hours later, Perkins was wearing the same outfit when he entered the 7-11 gas station at 260 Hoffmeister Ave. in Lemay, according to the probable cause statement. He pointed the same gun at an employee and demanded money. Surveillance footage showed Perkins leaving the scene with the money in the same Kia Telluride.

Then, on Nov. 12, Perkins used a black-and-silver gun to demand money from an employee at the BP gas station at 1212 Fee Fee Road in Creve Coeur, county police said. He left the store with cash from the register and drove away in the same car.

All three incidents were caught on surveillance footage, and investigators identified Perkins as the suspect in the video, police said.

St. Louis County Police Department Crimes Against Persons detectives are leading the ongoing investigation.
