4 charged in connection to shooting at St. Clair Bowl

O'FALLON, Ill. — Four people were charged in connection to a shooting in early March at St. Clair Bowl in O'Fallon, Illinois. 

The shooting happened at around 9:45 p.m. on March 3 inside the bowling alley. Two people were shot and injured by stray gunfire during the shootout. Both were treated and released from the hospital.

According to a press release, the incident happened following a physical altercation between two people near the front counter of the bowling alley. During the altercation, multiple individuals displayed handguns and multiple shots were fired, police said.

O'Fallon police said they do not believe the shooting is connected to a disturbance earlier that evening involving multiple juvenile girls at the bowling alley.

The St. Clair County State's Attorney issued charges on Friday:

Mykel Davis, 20, was charged with one count of possession of a firearm without and FOID and two counts of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. He is in custody at the St. Clair County Jail, police said.

Brandon Smith, 24, was charged with one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon and obstructing justice. 

Otarius Thomas, 28, was charged with one count of aggravated unlawful use of a weapon. 

Imunique Williams, 25, was charged with one count of aggravated battery.
