ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A 4-year-old was shot in the leg in north St. Louis County Friday evening, police said.
According to the St. Louis County Police Department, officers responded to a shooting call around 5:45 p.m. in the 10100 block of Green Valley Drive.
Officers found a 4-year-old with a gunshot wound to the leg. The victim was transported to an area hospital with non-life-threatening injuries, police said.
No further information was available regarding what led up to the shooting.
The investigation is ongoing.
