ST. LOUIS — A man was fatally shot Saturday night in north St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, the deadly shooting happened at about 11:40 p.m. in the 8300 block of Dickman Park Road, located in the city's Baden neighborhood.
The victim, 21-year-old Donnell Witherspoon, was found in a grassy area near a parking lot with a gunshot wound to his head. He was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
The Homicide Division was requested.
