ST. LOUIS — A double shooting in St. Louis' Columbus Square neighborhood left one man dead and another seriously injured Thursday evening.
Officers responded to a shooting at about 6:40 p.m. in the 1100 block of Tucker Boulevard, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. At the scene, they found two men with gunshot wounds.
One victim, identified as 46-year-old Michael Williams of Spanish Lake, was pronounced dead at the scene, police said. The other victim, a 19-year-old, was seriously injured with a gunshot wound to his face. He was taken to an area hospital for treatment.
The Homicide Division assumed the ongoing investigation.
