ST. LOUIS — A teenager was killed and a woman was injured after being shot early Wednesday morning in St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, two victims arrived at an area hospital via a private vehicle just before 2 a.m. Wednesday after a shooting near Interstate 70 and Madison Street.
Police said one of the victims, described as a boy in his late teens, died after being shot in the head, and the other victim, a 21-year-old woman, suffered a graze wound.
The Homicide Division assumed the ongoing investigation and was still searching for a suspect.
No other information was available as of Wednesday morning.

The Bullet Related Injury Clinic (BRIC) is a community-based clinic in St. Louis that helps people heal after they have been injured by a bullet. The BRIC was established to help people who are discharged from the emergency department after being shot.
