ST. LOUIS — One person was fatally shot Monday night in downtown St. Louis.
According to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department, officers responded to the report of a shooting just after 10:30 p.m. Monday on Olive Street near Pine Street, just blocks away from the Enterprise Center. There, they found a man in his 20s laying on the ground with gunshot wounds.
Police said the victim was pronounced dead at a local hospital.
The Homicide Division assumed the ongoing investigation.
