ST. LOUIS — At least two drive-by pellet gun shootings were reported early Tuesday morning in St. Louis, and 5 On Your Side's newsroom called in one of them.
The first shooting was reported at about 1:20 a.m. Tuesday at 9th Street and Russell Boulevard, just outside of Hammerstone's, according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. Police said two people reported being shot with airsoft guns.
Police said their injuries were not severe.
A few hours later, a 5 On Your Side photographer was shot at just before 4 a.m. while walking into the news station on Walnut Street. Surveillance footage showed a black car drive the wrong way up the street before firing what appeared to be a pellet gun from the window of the car. The photographer had to duck down behind a vehicle to dodge the pellets.
As of Tuesday morning, no arrests had been made.

Life Outside of Violence "helps those harmed by stabbing, gunshot or assault receive the treatment, support and resources they need to find alternatives to end the cycle of violence."
The Urban League of Metropolitan St. Louis has the Neighborhood Healing Network, which serves people who have experienced crime, violence or been the victim of an incident that caused trauma.
The Bullet Related Injury Clinic (BRIC) is a community-based clinic in St. Louis that helps people heal after they have been injured by a bullet. The BRIC was established to help people who are discharged from the emergency department after being shot.
