EUREKA, Mo. — Eureka police are trying to find a former St. Andrew’s at Francis Place employee suspected of stealing drugs from the senior care facility at 400 Summerville Blvd. The suspect is a 33-year-old Jefferson City woman, Capt. Michael Werges said.

The thefts were reported on Feb. 10. The employee was allegedly seen in surveillance videos stealing residents’ prescription drugs over a 10-day period, the report said.

The employee was allegedly seen taking Oxycodone, Norco, Percocet and Ativan. A total of 60 units were taken, according to the report.

A manager confronted the employee and requested the suspect take a drug-screen test. The employee allegedly quit and left before officers arrived, the report said.

As of Monday, Werges said the woman had not been arrested, and Eureka Police will seek charges through the St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney’s Office after the suspect has been interviewed.
