ST. LOUIS — A man died Thursday night after being shot in St. Louis.
St. Louis police responded to a shooting call at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday in the 5100 block of Maffitt Avenue, in the Kingsway West neighborhood.
There, officers found a man on the ground who had been shot.
The man was pronounced dead at the scene by EMS.
He was identified Saturday as 30-year-old Devontea Strauther.
St. Louis police's homicide division is investigating the shooting.
