ST. LOUIS — Police have identified the man who was killed in a shooting last week in St. Louis
The St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department said the shooting happened at about 6:40 p.m. Aug. 1, in the 1600 block of Hamilton Avenue.
A man was found shot in the head and the stomach. He was taken to the hospital by EMS.
Police said the man died at the hospital. He was identified on Monday as 40-year-old Alltonio Steeples.
No additional information was available about the shooting.
