ST. LOUIS — A Glasgow Village man was sentenced Wednesday for murdering three people within two years in St. Louis. He pleaded guilty to each killing in March.
According to a press release from St. Louis Circuit Court, Dahsaun Ewing, 22, pleaded guilty last week to two counts of second-degree murder for the July 2020 killings of two men. He fatally shot Arie Bagsby, 20, and Omar Harris, 21.
He also pleaded guilty to second-degree murder in the July 2021 killing of a teenage boy. He fatally shot Kyle Falker, 15.
Ewing initially faced first-degree murder but prosecutors reduced it to second-degree and dismissed armed criminal action and evidence tampering for his guilty plea.
A St. Louis Circuit judge ordered that Ewing consecutively serve a 20-year sentence for the deaths of Basgby and Harris, according to his plea agreement. In addition, he will consecutively serve a 10-year sentence for Falker's death. Ewing will also serve a 78-month federal prison sentence that began last July. He was convicted of conspiracy to distribute heroin, fentanyl and meth.
Harris and Bagsby were shot and killed near Saint Louis University four years ago. They were found inside a bullet-riddled car in front of a church at North Grand Boulevard and Lindell Boulevard, according to police.
Harris' father told 5 On Your Side they were victims of mistaken identity. They were killed near the 300 block of North Grand Boulevard.
Falker was shot and killed three years ago inside the Preservation Square housing development in the 1400 block of O’Fallon Street.
Another man, then-19-year-old Stanico Jordan, was sentenced in December to 22 years in prison after also pleading guilty in Falker's killing. Jordan was 16 at
the time of the shooting and was tried as an adult, according to court documents.
