ST. LOUIS — Monday was a violent night in St. Louis, with three separate deadly shootings occurring before 10:30 p.m.
The first deadly shooting occurred just after 8:30 p.m., according to the St. Louis Metropolitan Police Department. A woman was found suffering gunshot wounds in the parking lot of the Conoco gas station at 4355 South Broadway. She was transported to a local hospital, where she later died.
The woman was identified as 26-year-old Mahogany Jones of St. Louis.
Police said the shooting happened in the 4300 block of California Avenue.
The second incident occurred at about 9:15 p.m. at home on the 4300 block of West Belle Place. Police said a woman in her 30s was found suffering multiple gunshot wounds inside the home. Police said they believe the shooting was a result of an argument. The woman was pronounced dead at the scene.
The third incident happened at about 10:15 p.m. at a different Conoco, located at 1314 Gravois Ave. A man was found with a gunshot wound to his torso inside the gas station. Police said the victim was making a purchase when the suspect entered and shot him.
Police said the suspect fled the scene after the shooting, and the victim was taken to a local hospital, where he was pronounced dead.
On Thursday, police identified the victim as 32-year-old Terrence Wortham of St. Louis.
Homicide investigations were launched into each of the incidents.

Cure Violence is an international organization that has recently launched in a handful of St. Louis neighborhoods. Violence interrupters are trained to de-escalate violent situations within their own communities.
