EAST ST. LOUIS, Ill. — Illinois State Police and the East St. Louis Police Department are asking for the public's help in identifying two persons of interest in a convenience store shooting in early October.
On Oct. 9, the Public Safety Enforcement Group was requested around 7:40 p.m. to investigate a shooting at Healthy Choice Market in East St. Louis, Illinois.
A victim was taken to a St. Louis area hospital with life-threatening injuries. Police did not provide any further information regarding the victim's condition as of Thursday.
Surveillance footage showed the two suspects of interest who could have been involved in the incident.
The events leading up to the shooting remain unknown.
