FLORISSANT, Mo. — Florissant Police are looking for a man who physically and sexually assaulted a woman at Five Below. It happened early Wednesday morning. The woman was by the back door of the store, near the loading area.
She encountered a man, who had a bandana around his face. Police said he forced her into the back of the store, where he assaulted her.

“It makes me sick and mad,” said a co-worker, who did not want to be identified.
Police do not have any surveillance video or pictures yet, so they are hoping people come forward with tips.
“I love Florissant,” said Jenny Scott, who shops at Five Below. “I hate when things like that happen here because we get a bad rap sometimes. It's a wonderful place to live. It could happen anywhere, but I don't like it when it happens in my neighborhood. I don't.”
Scott said she always preaches safety to her two daughters.
“I've told them since they were little to be aware of their surroundings,” Scott said. “I'm sure they're tired of it, but as a woman, we especially have to be careful. It's not fair, but if it's going to keep me and my family safe, that's what we're going to do.”
