ST. CHARLES COUNTY, Mo. – A Lake St. Louis man was found guilty of enticement of a child in connection with a 2016 incident when he engaged an undercover cop posing as a child under the age of 15-year-old.

According to a press release from St. Charles County Prosecuting Attorney Tim Lohmar's office, William Richard Conner, 48, was found guilty of enticement of a child, second-degree attempted statutory sodomy and sexual misconduct involving a child.

The release said the charges stem from a July 2016 ad looking for someone to play Pokemon Go with. The release said Conner responded to the ad and made sexually explicit requests with the officer posing as a child under the age of 15.

He was found guilty Wednesday. Sentencing is set for April 2. He is currently out on bail.
