ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A man was fatally shot Tuesday morning in Hillsdale.
The St. Louis County Police Department said officers with the North County Police Cooperative responded at 9:46 p.m. to a report of shots fired and found a man shot on the 6200 block of Bailey Place. The man was rushed to an area hospital, where he later died.
He was identified on Thursday as 41-year-old Willie Thompson.
The St. Louis County Police Department's Bureau of Crimes Against Persons assumed responsibility for the investigation.
