The death of a man whose body was found in his west St. Louis County home Tuesday is being investigated as a homicide, police said.
St. Louis County police said officers were asked shortly after 1 p.m. to check the welfare of a man who lived in the 1400 block of Cedar Bluff Drive, about a mile southwest of the intersection of Highway 141 and Big Bend Road.
Officers found the man with injuries to his body. Police did not immediately say how the man was injured. He was pronounced dead at the scene.
A person of interest was taken into custody, police said.
