ST. LOUIS — A man was found dead Sunday morning in south St. Louis.
At 7:26 a.m., police responded to Louisiana and Potomac, which is near Gravois Park and along the edge of the Gravois Park and Benton Park West neighborhoods.
Officers found the man dead with a stab wound to his chest and dried blood on the ground.
Homicide investigators were called to the scene. Police did not release any further details.
The homicide followed an active night for St. Louis police. Ten people were shot within two hours late Saturday night into early Sunday. One of the incidents left five people injured downtown. All of the shooting victims survived.
