LINCOLN COUNTY, Mo. — A man was shot and killed in Warren County on Friday. Police are searching for an identified suspect considered to be armed and dangerous.
Warren County Emergency Services responded to a call at the 29000 block of Bobwhite Lane around 6:30 a.m. where a 49-year-old man was lying on the ground dead, according to the Warren County Sheriff's Office.
James Frazer, 38, has been identified as the suspect by the Warren County Sheriff's Department.
Deputies said Frazer has been moving with help from friends to locations on Bobwhite Lane, Highway J, and Mistic Drive within Wright City. He was last seen near Linns Mill Road and Highway U in Lincoln County.
He is described as being 6-foot-1 inches tall and weighs 180 pounds, with brown hair and a beard.
He was last seen wearing a black ball cap, dark-colored hooded sweatshirt, baggy blue jeans work boots, the Warren County Sheriff's Office said.
Investigators with the Warren County Sheriff's Department, Lincoln County Sheriff's Department, and the Missouri State Highway Patrol are communicating with family and friends to encourage Frazer to turn himself in, according to police.
