WASHINGTON PARK, Ill. — An investigation is underway in St. Clair County after a deadly shooting Friday morning.
Just before 10 a.m., police were called to the 5900 block of Caseyville Ave in Washington Park, Illinois, for a report of a shooting. A man, with several gunshot wounds, was found lying in the roadway.
The St. Clair County coroner identified him as 70-year-old Joseph W. Hudson of Cahokia Heights.
Limited details surrounding the shooting have been released.
