ST. LOUIS COUNTY, Mo. — A Ferguson man was charged after police said he hit his stepson multiple times with a metal bat on New Year's Day.
The St. Louis County Prosecuting Attorney's Office charged Dwayne Minor, 35, with one count each of first-degree assault and armed criminal action on Jan. 4.
According to Ferguson police, the stepson suffered multiple injuries, including a fractured skull, fractured eye socket and three broken fingers.
Police did not release an update on the victim's condition.
Minor is being held on a $150,000, cash-only bond.
