ST LOUIS — ST. LOUIS – Police are investigating after a man was found dead in north St. Louis
Police responded to the 5200 block of Gilmore Sunday morning around 7 a.m. where they found a man inside a home with apparent gunshot wounds. He was pronounced dead on the scene.
On Monday, police identified the victim as 54-year-old Mark Jacox.
This is the 46th murder this year recorded in the City of St. Louis. Last year at the same time, the City of St. Louis recorded 48 murders.
