O'FALLON, Mo. — Police are looking for a man they said shot at his ex-girlfriend in O'Fallon, Missouri, Monday night.
The O'Fallon Police Department said they were called at around 9:30 Monday night after a woman said her ex-boyfriend shot at her as she tried to hide in an apartment on Lincoln Street.
She said he then jumped into a white sports car and fled the scene. Police found the car and took a person into custody, but that person has not been charged.
The victim identified the shooter as 23-year-old Malik Payne of St. Louis. He was charged with first-degree domestic assault and armed criminal action by St. Charles County prosecutors, but he has not been taken into custody.
