RICHMOND HEIGHTS, Mo. — A man wearing a ski mask stole a nurse's car at gunpoint on the parking lot of St. Mary's Hospital Tuesday night.
The Richmond Heights Police Department said the nurse was putting her work bags in the back of her car when the man ran up to her with a gun and demanded her keys.
She handed him the keys and the suspect drove off in her black Toyota 4Runner.
Police are still looking for the car, which has a silver luggage rack and running boards and Missouri plates KG2-A1T.
Anyone with information is asked to call police.

St. Mary’s Hospital has taken this unfortunate incident as an opportunity to remind our staff of safety and precautionary measures they can take to protect themselves, as the safety and security of our patients, visitors and staff is always our top priority. These reminders include:
- Encouraging employees to walk in pairs to their cars and to remain alert at all times.
- Requesting a security escort if they don’t feel safe.
- Reminding them of emergency call stations located on each floor in the garages.
- Asking them to call security or the police if they ever see anything suspicious.
- Having car keys in hand, ready to open their vehicle.
- Once in their vehicle, start the engine and proceed – do not check text or phone messages.
